The qualified teacher would be working in a fully-supplied, strong and robust classroom of 34 students, with 2 assistants. Nature's Classroom Montessori prides itself on its faithful adherence to Montessori principles with the addition of a strong outdoor and environmental philosophy. Montessori Elementary Guide Available August 2026
Are you looking to connect the Montessori Elementary curriculum with spectacular outdoor education? Nature's Classroom Institute and Montessori School is situated on 140 acres of exquisite land with a farm on site. Students have access to a gorgeous creek, a farm with sheep, goats, a llama and chickens as well as a farm garden. Assistant Principle at Montessori School Raccine Unified School District
The Assistant Principal is accountable to the principal of the school to which assigned. The Assistant Principal assumes administrative and supervisory tasks as directed by the principal. The Assistant Principal is authorized to act in the absence of the principal as directed. Required Certifications/Licenses: Must have or be eligible for Wisconsin certification as a principal. Must obtain certification in Educator Effectiveness through Teach Scape within 90 days after start date. Formal Education: Master's Degree in Administrative Leadership and Supervision Experience: Minimum of three years of teaching and/or administrative experience. Montessori experience preferred. Assists the principal in serving as the instructional and organizational leader of the school. 2. Assumes daily operational tasks that include but are not limited to the following responsibilities: student and teacher scheduling, student transportation, student activities, establishing and maintaining student discipline, arranging and participating in conferences with students, teachers, counselors and parents, and maintaining necessary anecdotal records including I.E.P. Conferences. 3. Conducts classroom observations and teacher evaluations and any other class of building employees at the direction of the principal. 4. Provides service to staff members through orientation activities, counseling, faculty meetings, providing instructional materials, and curriculum development activities. 5. Assists the principal with public relations functions including P.T.A. general and board meetings, developing and contacting community resources to be used as a supplement to the curriculum including newspaper, radio, and television. 6. Serves as the building administrator in the absence of the principal. 7. Attends regularly scheduled Data Team Meetings. 8. River Falls Public Montessori Elementary School seeks a compassionate, student-centered School Counselor who is committed to supporting the academic, social-emotional, and developmental growth of children within a Montessori environment. The counselor will work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, administrators, and community partners to foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school culture aligned with Montessori philosophy. The ideal candidate understands child development through a Montessori lens, values student independence and voice, and is skilled in implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes equity, access, and belonging for each and every student. Performance Responsibilities Provide individual and small-group counseling to support students’ social-emotional development, self-regulation, conflict resolution, and executive functioning skills. Deliver multi-aged classroom-based social-emotional learning (SEL) lessons aligned with ASCA National Model and the ASCA Mindsets and Behaviors. Assist in crisis response and provide short-term intervention as needed. Collaborate with families to support student well-being and development. Connect families with community resources when additional support is needed. Partner with teachers to support classroom climate, restorative practices, and peaceful conflict resolution. Participate in Child Study Teams and IEP/504 meetings as appropriate. Consult with staff regarding trauma-informed practices and culturally responsive approaches. Collect and analyze data to assess program effectiveness and student outcomes. Maintain appropriate documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
